This page explains, in plain words, what shreesangh.com collects and what the ShreeSangh app does with a Sangh's data.
This website
- The website sets one cookie: your language choice, kept for a year. It does not identify you.
- Our analytics use no cookies and count page views only. No advertising networks are loaded.
- If you request a demo, we keep your Sangh's name, city, your name, phone number and preferred language so that we can reply. We use them for nothing else, and we delete them if you ask.
The ShreeSangh app
- Each Sangh's data, its members, families, pledges, payments and reports, belongs to that Sangh and is kept separate from every other Sangh on the system.
- A member's phone number is used to send a one-time login code on WhatsApp and, when the Sangh chooses, messages about their own pledges and payments.
- Data is stored in India. Backups are taken daily. Records are never truly deleted. Corrections are logged, so the ledger always adds up.
- Trustees decide who in their Sangh can see and change what, through roles and rights. We do not open a Sangh's data except to give support the Sangh has asked for.
Your rights
Members can ask their Sangh to show, correct or stop using their personal details. A Sangh can export all of its data at any time, and can ask us to delete it when it stops using the system.
